How we're working to keep car owners and renters safe in light of COVID-19

At Karshare we’ve been working to take extra precautions to ensure that our community of car owners and car renters can use our service with confidence. 

Contactless check in 

  • Karshare uses keyless technology which removes the need for close contact.
  • Using our secure KarshareGo technology our community can rent and unlock cars with our app, mitigating the risk of transmission. 

Clean and sanitised cars

  • Hosts are required to clean and sanitise their vehicles before every rental, paying particular attention to areas such as seatbelts, buttons, switches, steering, as well as external handles on the doors and boot.
  • Karshare provide a sanitisation kits to car owners which include disposable gloves, hand sanitiser and antibacterial wipes. These are left in the cars for renters to use before and after rental.
  • Renters are required to return the car in the same condition as it was at the time of collection. 
  • We recommend car owners get their vehicles professionally cleaned at least once a month.

Charlie is the Entrepreneur in Residence at Karshare focused on Business Development and Operations. Charlie joined the company in June 2019 having spent three years as a senior project manager in the sports events industry for the European Tour.
